Sales recruitment by US location, GTM talent from India

Pick your US metro. Each page shows what a go-to-market seat costs in that city versus the same operator in India, and how a search there runs.

GTMly recruits go-to-market talent in India for United States companies, organised by the US metro you are hiring into. Every candidate is India-based, works your time zone, and has already carried a US quota; the location page tells you what that seat costs in your city versus the same operator in India, which local companies build India GTM pods, and how a search in your market runs. We work on contingency, so nothing is payable until you hire, and we do not place people on the ground in the US.

We currently publish detailed pages for New York and San Francisco, the two densest US software markets, and add metros as demand shows. If your city is not listed yet, the model is identical: tell us the role and the buyer, and we come back with two to three vetted, currently-employed operators, usually within a week to a week and a half.

Which US locations does GTMly recruit for?

New York and San Francisco have dedicated pages today, with local comp math and a market-specific screen. More metros follow as buyer demand shows where the next page earns its place.

New York

Sales recruitment for New York companies hiring GTM talent in India. NYC versus India comp for SDR, AE, CSM and RevOps, which New York companies build India pods, and the East Coast hours screen.

San Francisco

Sales recruitment for Bay Area companies hiring GTM talent in India. SF versus India comp, which Bay Area companies build India pods, and the Pacific-hours reality every candidate is screened against.

Other US metros

Austin, Boston, Chicago and more come as demand shows. The model does not change by city: tell us the role and the buyer and we run the same contingency search. Pick a slot to talk.

Does the location change how the search works?

Only two things change by metro: the local comp you are benchmarking against, and the time-zone shift your India team works. Everything else, the buyer-first screen, the direct outreach, the two-to-three shortlist and the contingency terms, is the same in every city.

The comp gap is what makes each market worth a page. A go-to-market seat in a top US metro runs four to nine times the cost of a comparable India operator, and the multiple is largest in San Francisco. The time-zone shift is the other variable candidates are screened on: an East Coast seat is a 6:30pm to 2:30am India shift, a Pacific seat closer to 9:30pm to 5:30am, and not every strong candidate will work the harder one. For the underlying roles and how a GTM team is structured by stage, see what is a GTM role.

Hiring a go-to-market seat for a US team?

Tell us the metro, the role and the buyer. We come back with 2 to 3 vetted, currently-employed operators in India who have carried a US quota, usually within a week to a week and a half. Contingency, so there is no cost until you hire.

Common questions

Which US cities does GTMly have location pages for?

New York and San Francisco today, the two densest US software markets. We add metros such as Austin, Boston and Chicago as buyer demand shows where the next page is worth building.

Do you place candidates physically in these cities?

No. Every candidate we recruit is based in India and works United States hours for the metro you are hiring into. If you need someone physically on the ground in a US city, we are not the right firm.

What if my city is not listed yet?

The model is identical regardless of metro. Tell us the role and the buyer and we run the same contingency search, coming back with two to three vetted, currently-employed operators, usually within a week to a week and a half.

Does the cost change by city?

The US benchmark does, which is why each metro gets its own page. A go-to-market seat runs four to nine times the cost of a comparable India operator depending on the city, with San Francisco the highest. The India cost is broadly the same wherever the buyer sits.
